You will notice the lists get shorter as the kids get older! Here are a few must-have items that I make sure are in my bag, depending on the age of the kids: Babies and Young Children (0 – 3 years old) What do I take with me into the parks when I am going with my kids? Well, it depends on the age of the kids. Even if I don’t plan to start riding right away, I will often arrive early to grab breakfast along Main Street U.S.A. With little ones, I find this to be especially important because you can often experience many attractions with shorter waits at the beginning of the day. This is often referred to as “rope drop”. Line up early for the bus if at a Disney Resort and be ready to enter the park right away. Then, you can take the ferryboat or monorail to get to the main entrance. If you are not staying at a Disney resort, you will arrive at the Ticket and Transportation Center (TTC) to start your day. For some resorts in the Magic Kingdom area, you can even walk to the main entrance of the park. Depending on your resort, this will be bus, monorail, or boat transportation. If you are staying at one of the hotels at the Walt Disney World Resort, you can take advantage of the Disney transportation offered to get to the park.
